The Chemistry Department at LSU offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. The degree offers a wide range of concentrations within the degree to prepare the student for an active career in chemistry or in other professions. Many of the concentrations lead to American Chemical Society certification. See Undergraduate Programs for a listing of areas of concentration.

Undergraduate Program

The Chemistry Department's program offers a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree. Chemistry majors must select one of eight areas of concentration, preferably in their sophomore year.
