Applying for the IMSD Program For details on
eligibility, see the link About the LSU IMSD Program. Students are selected
based upon an overall evaluation of multiple criteria, as judged members of
the IMSD Advisory Council. Each member of the Council will assign a student
applicant an overall ranking, based upon a composite of items presented in an
application. Criteria of primary significance towards the overall ranking
include academic performance, detailed responses to the questions in the
application form, as well as the strength of letters of recommendation. Each criteria may not necessarily receive equal weight towards
the overall ranking. Students are
required to submit a completed application form, two letters of
recommendation from LSU faculty, and current LSU transcripts. The application
form may be submitted online. The completed application, letters of
recommendation and transcripts must be received by the Program Coordinator

than July 1st.
