After four years in Boone Co., Presley and
Polly
moved to Monroe Co. near Florida[,Mo] in September, 1830, where he
farmed.
Later Presley lived in Florida where they conducted a store
and a hotel(tavern).
Later Presley and family moved to Santa Fe, Mo. He was especially
interested in horticulture, and was a nurseryman and cooper (barrel maker).
In 1828 Presley united with the Baptist Church at Rocky Fork,
and was baptized by Elder Peyton Stevens.
Polly Wilkerson died in March 1879 from an overdose of laudenum,
