I am Robert Ronald Zinn[=Bob Zinn=BZ], son of Joseph Zinn and Sarah Francis Wright Zinn.
 

The information in italics was transcribe from the reverse side of Robert Rowene Wright's 'delayed or special certificate of birth. no. 185842'
The certificate was apparently issued to Robert R. Wright in 1944. He was my  grandfather[BZ'sG1.]

Samuel Wright was my Great Great Great Grandfather.[BZ'sG4]
William Wilkerson was my Great Great Great Great Grandfather.[BZ'sG5]


Samuel Wright, came from Ireland to Tennessee and afterward to Miissouri, in 1852, a blacksmith by trade, buried at Shelbyville, Mo.

His son James Shelly Wright,(?6/14/1835?--2/27/1883) born in Tenn., came to Mo., in 1852.

Married in 1859, Margaret Frances Ashcraft, of Paris, Mo., He died Feb. 27, 1883; aged 47 years 9 months 13 days, buried Indian Creek.

James S. and Margaret were the parents of: Robert Henry; Sep't 28, 1860 Laura: Frank S. and Sallie. James was also a blacksmith and a Royal Arch Mason.

Robert Henry, was born Sep 28, 1860, educated at Paris, Mo., blacksmith, mechanic, druggist, gold miner, inventor and was married to Sally Moss Wilkerson, of Santa Fe, Monroe county, Mo.(born Aug 10, 1867.)

Robert H. and Sally were the parents of the following children; all born at Santa Fe, Mo.,

R.H.W. was a Master Mason.

Robert R. and Minnie Bowser were married at Centralia, Mo., January 8th, 1914.

Our only child Sara Frances was born, March 9, 1915 at Mexico, Mo. on Love Street, one block north of Court house Square. Birth Certificate, file 12101. My social security No. 486-12-8587.

Our granddaughter, Patricia Ann Campbell, was born in Columbia, Boone county, Mo., August 19, 1936.

The death of Robert Henry Wright is recorded in the Mo. Grand Lodge Proceedings of 1929, on page 181 appendix. He is buried at Mexico, Mo..

Robert Henry Wright went to Alaska to hunt for gold. He later brought his wife and two of his children, a son, Robert Rowene Wright, and a daughter, Alaska Wright
Many of the adventures of the Missouri-Alaska Mining Company were published in newspapers of the day and others were recorded in the Diary of Robert R. Wright part of the collection that I am digitizing.

It looks like a cloudy day on the Alaska tundra. The clouds seem to echo the contour of the terrain.
