In fact, this year I am doing just that, trying to establish some of the newer lines. I researched the ancestral lines first obviously. By the way, my sketchy research in madison County proves there was a 2nd older Presley Wilkerson which might be one of the Presleys mentioned (Boone's Fort??). If I were to print out everything and all of the people in my database, both histories would run 100 pages or more. I have tons on the Searcys and Dooleys. I descend from two Searcy brothers. In Bedford Co., VA, Madison,KY and Monroe co. MO, these people (Bush, Searcy, Dooley, Gatson, Wilkerson, Hardwick) intermarried generation after generation making for an interesting search. The Searcys actually came from Granville NC after migrating from Hanover Co., VA to there (we believe). The others seem to have a common connection in Bedford Co., VA and before that various other counties (Orange, Augusta, etc.) I am quite willing to share what I have - always have been, but to see a picture of a great-great-great-great-great-aunt is priceless. The picture of Ornsby and wife is a wonderful picture, but my instinct tells me this is wife #2. Dorcas according to your family information died 1873 at age 52. This lady seems a bit younger, but he is a bit older. I would like to think it is her-she's pretty. Anyway, after you have digested this, please let me know what questions you have and I'll see if I can help you. Much is documented with original copies so I might be able to send "documentation".
