Monday May 25 - Robert & CBW visited the Artificial Lake the water spouts about 50 or 60 feet high

Monday June 1 - Steamer Alki the first boat to carry gold from Alaska met Mrs. Butler.
Tuesday June 2 - Robert & CBW went up on the mountain went to R. Read Shops Seen Ranch & Greenhouse
Wednesday June 3 - Seen a woman ride astride ( a mule)
Thursday June 4 - Rob & CBW went up the mourtain, snow balled & shot a mosquito & seen trees with whiskers
Friday June 5 - Ate a hearty Breakfast dinner & supper
Saturday June 6 - Climed mountain Seen Lake water falls and fished for trout
Sunday June 7 - Seen Baseball played in evening: and went to church at night.
Monday June 8 - Went to Salvation Army after Supper (we board at Occidental Hotel)
Tuesday June 9 - Henry, Sallie & Alaska landed in Skagway 4 P.M. came on Steamer Cottage City

Wednesday June 17 - Arrived at Eagle 3P.M. Start for Alder Gulch 10 P.M. read, letter from Agnes & Pa & Ma (wade creek)
Thursday June 18 - Camp out arrived at mines 8 P.M. and made our beds out of spruce boughs (light all time)
Friday June 19 - Had flap jacks for breakfast done some representing
Saturday June 20 -Still on Alder Gulch just below us 30 men are working putting in flum for Hydraulicing American Creek.
