Bob's wife, Dr. Marta Vasquez is a graduate of LSU in analytical chemisty (minor in education). She also has an M.S. in organic chemistry and a B.S. in chemical engineering.

She has 5 years experience in Environmental Chemistry and Quality Control. She works for LDEQ, Lousiana Department of Environmental Quality.

Their daughter, Annabel, graduated Cum Laude from Baton Rouge High School in May, 1995, and is a graduate of LSU. Annabel is now married, has a baby daughter and her own photography business and is involved with Bumba Bella a new family business that specializes in hand made dresses.
